PLAGIARISM VIRGIN? NOT IN THIS UNIVERSE! An Email from Anonymous: I have probably known of Filia for a much longer time than most people. Way back in 1999 was when she first opened a Xelloss/Filia shrine called "Royale Colours," and I quickly became a huge fan of her creation. A few weeks later, Filia purchased (for the first time) a domain called "FiliaUlCopt.com." She then moved "Royale Colours" from its original location onto her new domain, where it would remain on hiatus in the form of a "Coming Soon" graphic for a year. As you know, Filia takes an extremely long time with all of her projects, sometimes abandoning them when convenient. (*cough* Inverse.nu *cough*) So, I decided to content myself with the old version of "Royale Colours" (hosted at AnimeInfinity.com) instead of waiting for Version 3.0 to come out. Apparently, Filia had never bothered to delete the shrine off its original server. In case you're wondering, you can view the old "Royale Colours" at http://www.animeinfinity.com/slayers/ie/ (I have also saved a copy of it.) One day, while I was reading through one of the essays in "Royale Colours," I suddenly felt a twinge of 'deja vu.' I was nearly certain that I had read the EXACT same information somewhere else... but at the time, I couldn't remember where. Shortly after, while I was surfing through a popular shrine by Dira called "Filia's Teahouse," I realized that the information was notably similar to the essay I had read at "Royale Colours." I went back to "Royale Colours" to check... and lo and behold, the written material was INDENTICAL with the information in "Filia's Teahouse." Looking at the dates on both sites, I knew that "Filia's Teahouse" was created long before "Royale Colours." Filia had cut and pasted an entire page of information from Dira's website. PROOF: If you want to see the plagiarised essay at "Royale Colours," visit this page: http://www.animeinfinity.com/slayers/purplengold/attitudes.htm If you want to see the original information written by Dira, you can visit Filia's Teahouse: Screencap- shrine is now closed. -Name Withheld To top off this email, I ran across a guestbook entry in Royal Colour's old guestbook that pointed out an interesting fact. The layout for that old version of Royal Colours may look familiar to you. Especially if you've ever visited MoonPrincess.com. Looks like Filia has been plagiarizing people from the very beginning of one of her very first shrines.
![]() As you can imagine, this revelation of yet more of Filia's misdeeds made me curious, so after a while I went hunting. I did a google search for the first paragraph in the "story" section of Filia's old, static Neherenia Shrine. Low and behold, it's IDENTICAL to this section of Silvermoonlight.com. Her "name" section is also directly plagiarized from the same page. Oh, and here's a REAL kicker. On her old Royal Colours page, Filia plagiarized directly from the Slayers site of Slayers sites, Inverse.org. Her section on Mazoku is copy/pasted from the "Races," "Mazoku," and "Character" sections of Inverse.org. Want proof? It's all highlighted, yellow for the Races and mazoku sections, red for various character sections:
Also, if you care to go to the actual sites and look, Filia even plagiarized Inverse.org's disclaimer: "HTML and scripting are copyright (c)1997-2003 by Xelloss (Andre Germain) and are not to be altered or reproduced without permission." Well, Filia altered that one just enough to say "Chibi Filia ul Copt" instead of "Xellos." :P Oh, and if anyone knows who REALLY made that Shabrinigdo sprite, please email me, because I know she didn't, even though she claims to have. Read on for more recent acts of netiquette disregard.
